Stuck on a question?
If you get stuck on a question during the actual practice tests or on a real test, take a deep, slow breath, shake it off, and move on to the next question. Do NOT let it freak you out. Just move on and focus on nailing the rest of the questions. If you have trouble with a few questions, just prioritize and come back to the ones you have trouble with. I talk about this in my Emergency PSAT Study Guide on the PSAT page, so check that out. The key is to focus on solving the problems you can solve right off and maintaining the presence of mind to think outside the box if necessary to solve the others. This is a skill that takes some work to cultivate, but I believe you can do it. Don't worry. You can go back to the questions you missed after you take the test and solve them again and gain the confidence you need to nail that question type sometime later.
After the test, here's how to get unstuck.
In my real life, I'm an ordinary high school student who gets stuck (in math, usually) on a fairly regular basis. And, like almost everyone I know, I turn to the kind people of the Internet when I really need help.
Here are a few free online SparkNotes for ACT and SAT/PSAT strategy.

For explaining my personal math homework, I really like the PatrickJMT YouTube channel. His ideas really click with my brain. I've never used him for ACT or SAT/PSAT prep, but check through his YouTube channel to see what he has for any particular concepts you need to remember: https://www.youtube.com/user/patrickJMT He's wonderful.
